Let’s now dive into the detailed tour itinerary for a 3-day Amboseli luxury private safari.
On the first day, you will be picked up at 6:00 a.m at your hotel, airport, or Nairobi CBD by our Naicef team. You will then be briefed on your Amboseli safari tour, where you will embark on your journey to Amboseli National Park aboard a private cruiser.
Enjoy the amazing road trip and the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley as you head to your destination from Nairobi. Around 12:30 p.m., arrive at Tortilis Camp, one of the premier Amboseli luxury lodges in Kenya, situated in a private conservancy with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Upon checking in, you will enjoy a gourmet bush lunch well prepared by the camp’s chefs. Later in the afternoon, you will head out on a game drive across the conservancy’s open plains, and having fewer vehicles, the conservancy is perfect for an Amboseli luxury private safari.
Later in the evening, around 5:10 p.m, you will head back to your camp to freshen up, then later dinner and stay overnight.
Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner {L & D}
The next day, you will arise early at 6:00 a.m for a morning game drive. With the help of your guide/driver, get to spot a wide array of wild species such as the Big Five animals, some of the Ugly Five animals, Shy Five animals, and a variety of bird species.
So, if you are a bird lover, then Amboseli is one of the best bird-watching destinations in Kenya!
Enjoy the game drive with amazing views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest mountain, and then later return by 10:30 a.m. to your camp for a deliciously prepared breakfast served in the bush.
After breakfast, enjoy the services offered at the camp before lunch time at 1:00 p.m, where you may opt for a picnic spot set up within the conservancy. At 2:00 p.m, you may opt for yet another game drive session or head on a scenic guided walking safari by a local Maasai warrior.
Later at 5:00 p.m, you will visit a nearby Amboseli village for an amazing cultural experience and get to engage with the local people and learn about their customs and traditions. After spending time with the local villagers, you will then return to your camp at 6:30 p.m for dinner and overnight.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner {B, L & D}
On your last day of your Amboseli safari tour, you will set off for a magical hot air balloon ride at 6:00 a.m and experience an aerial drift above the Amboseli plains.
Enjoy the breathtaking, clear views of Mt Kilimanjaro and of the wildlife, such as nests of the Vultures or the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah, making the hunt moves.
Upon landing, you will then celebrate with a champagne bush breakfast, as it is a tradition of hot air balloon rides, making it a signature experience of your luxury safari.
From there, you will return to your camp, Tortilis Camp, to check out by 10:30 a.m and then bid the conservancy farewell, starting your journey back to Nairobi.
Upon your arrival back to Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your preferred hotel, Nairobi CBD, or at the airport. Farewells and goodbyes!
