This 5 days Samburu Aberdare Wildlife Safari gives you a complete immersion of unique attractions found in the Central Kenya region. Samburu National Reserve is famously renowned to be home to the Special Five members (Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx, Grevy Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe & Somali Ostrich).
Aberdare National Park Safari, on the other hand, is known to be a stunning venture paradise, entailing the tallest waterfall in Kenya, the Karuru Waterfall, with a drop of 273 meters. You will be warmly met by our Naicef team at the airport, hotel, or Nairobi CBD for pickup. After a brief introduction and briefing, you will then begin your journey heading for Samburu wildlife exposure. You will get to traverse through various places such as Muranga, Nyeri, Laikipia, and Isiolo from Nairobi and enjoy the beauty of the upcountry.
Upon your arrival to Samburu, you will first check into your lodge as you have a deliciously prepared meal for you as a welcome to the northern frontier parts of Kenya. After lunch, you will then have a moment of relaxing and refreshing from the journey.
Later in the evening, you will head on for a game drive. With the help of your guide, you will get to spot all of the Special Five members and even the nocturnal species such as Porcupines and Aardvarks, among others.
After the game drive, you will proceed back to your lodge, Sarova Shaba Game Lodge, for dinner and overnight.
Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner {L & D}
On the next morning, you will be awakened by beautiful melodies from different bird species. You will start off the day with a morning game drive and enjoy the fascinating game views in the park as most of the animals are usually active during this period. Come across different prey as they get to do their hunt and prey on other species such as gazelles and zebras.
From there, you will head back to your lodge for breakfast as you go through your epic captures of different game encounters. You may also opt to visit a local Samburu village (at an extra cost) or just choose to relax at the lodge.
Later, after lunch, you will head on for an evening game drive and get to visit the elephant point and watch as the Elephants come to drink water at the banks of Ewaso Nyiro river. From there, proceed back to your lodge in preparation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and begin your journey heading for Aberdare safari tours. Upon your arrival, you will first check into your lodge.
You will then have your deliciously prepared lunch and then later have a moment of siesta. As you relax, you will have a moment to refresh and familiarize yourself with the place. Enjoy the fascinating views of Elephants coming to drink water just nearby the lodge.
Later in the afternoon, you will head for your Aberdare National Park safari and explore the beautiful park, full of life and stunning landscapes. You will get to encounter different game views such as Mountain Bongos, Monkeys, Waterbucks, Elephants, Antelopes, Bushbucks, and over 300 different bird species, among others.
You will then head back to your lodge, Treetops Lodge, for dinner and overnight.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner {B, L & D}
On the following morning, you will wake up and have your breakfast and then head on for a game drive. You will get to explore different parts of the park, such as the amazing waterfalls, including Karuru Waterfall, Kenya’s tallest waterfall.
You will also get to explore different flora species, such as the sacred fig tree for the Kikuyu tribe, and even get to explore the Mau Mau Caves.
You will then head back to your lodge for lunch, and later, you may choose to head for another game drive or opt for a visit to a local Kikuyu village (at an extra cost). Also, you may opt to head on for an epic nature walk, as the park is among the best places in Kenya for epic hiking trails.
Later, you will go back to your lodge and prepare for dinner and overnight.

On your last day you will have your breakfast as you check out of your lodge. You will then head on for a last game drive as you exit the park.
From there, you will head directly back to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at the airport/CBD/preferred hotel. Farewells and goodbyes!
