3 Days Samburu Safari Luxury Tour

Here is a detailed itinerary of the Samburu Safari tour:

Day 1: Departure

You will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel/CBD/JKIA airport in Nairobi. After a short briefing by our Naicef representatives, you will begin your journey north toward Samburu National Reserve.

Enjoy the scenic drive through Kenya’s highlands and semi-arid landscapes. Upon arrival, you will check into Sarova Shaba Lodge, your luxury accommodation nestled along the Ewaso Nyiro River.

After lunch and a brief rest, you will now head out for your first afternoon game drive.

Samburu is home to the rare Samburu Special Five (Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx which you will get to come across. You may also spot Elephants, Lions, and Leopards as part of the Big Five animals, among other various wild species.

After the game drive, you will then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Day Samburu Tour & Cultural Experience

Start your day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Capture the beauty of Samburu’s rugged terrain and spot various predators on the move, such as the fast & furious Cheetahs.

From there, you will then head back to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.

Later in the morning, you’ll embark on a Samburu cultural tour to a nearby Samburu village. Learn about traditional customs, dress, and storytelling from the local community.

You will then head back to your lodge for lunch. After lunch at the lodge, enjoy leisure time or opt for a guided nature walk or sundowner experience.

Day 3: Final Game Drive & Flight to Nairobi
