This 3 days Samburu cultural tour package takes you to one of Kenya’s ethnic Nilotic tribes, the Samburu tribe. The Samburu culture in Kenya is mostly found in the Northern region parts of Mount Kenya. They are famous for their semi-nomadic way of living, as they move from one place to another together with their livestock in search of greener pastures.
Get also to visit and learn more of the deep ancient Samburu traditions such as the famous ‘Singing Well’ where the warriors gather and sing as they draw water. Here is a curated package for you to experience all the fascinating traditions and culture of Samburu people.
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our Naicef team, and then after a short briefing head on for Kenya’s Northern frontier, the Samburu region. The drive will take you about 5 to 6 hours from Nairobi to Samburu where your tour awaits you.
On the way, you will get to enjoy the epic views of the Snow-capped Mount Kenya and the Laikipia ecosystem. On reaching, you will first check in to your lodge. You will then have your lunch as you have a moment of siesta.
Late in the evening, you will be welcomed by the amazing traditional dances performed by the energetic Samburu young warriors. Get also to challenge yourself in testing your strength and capabilities by participating in the Jumping dances. After getting to interact with the local Samburu people for a while, you will then head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

On this day, you will have a full immersion as you get to spend the day in the Samburu village Kenya. You will be able to learn more about the Samburu tribe culture, and their ceremonies such as the Samburu cultural festival and rituals. You will also get to be given a guided walk tour in the wild and get to experience the famous “Singing Well” as warriors strip and sing as they draw water from wells. Such an occasion is a once-in-a-lifetime moment that you sure wouldn’t wanna miss in the ancient Samburu culture.
You will also get to enjoy your lunch in an open area in the wild as you appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature. Dress also like a Samburu Warrior and enjoy the uniqueness of the Samburu culture and their dress codes.
Later, you will then head back to your lodge, for dinner and overnight.

On your last day of the 3 days Samburu Cultural tour, after breakfast, you will check out of your lodge as you have your last visit to the Samburu village Kenya. You will be able to have a chance to promote and support the local Samburu people in ways such as buying souvenirs or even tipping them.
After the cultural visit, you will then head back to Nairobi, where you will have your lunch as you await your flight back home. You may also be dropped off at your optional hotel near Nairobi.
