Detailed Description of The Private 1 Day Mount Longonot Hike
We’ll begin our journey in Nairobi early, at 5:45 am, with a pickup from the hotel or the CBD.
En route to the Rift Valley, we will have a brief stopover session about the Rift Valley and the escarpment at the Rift Valley viewpoint. This sets the tone for the tailored 1 Day Mt Longonot hike package.
You will have an opportunity to introduce yourself to the mountain from a distance, which enables you to capture an early picture of the great icon, the rift. Soon after arrival at the gate, we will have a briefing, stretching, and checking in for the great experience.
From the gate, it takes between 2 hours to climb and 45 minutes to trek up to the Mt Longonot crater rim.
