This 3 days Mambrui Sand Dunes package gives you a chance to explore Little Dubai on Kenya’s northern coast, feel like you’re in a desert, and enjoy a beach experience. Apart from the Mambrui sand dunes, another place you’ll visit to get a full North Coast Kenya exposure is Malindi Marine Park. Here, you will get to enjoy a boat ride in the Indian Ocean and also have a chance to explore the aquatic life underwater.
You will also visit the Vasco Da Gamma Pillar and learn its significance and how it came to be. You will visit Mida Creek Kenya, and enjoy an amazing boardwalk on a suspended wood over mudflats and mangroves. At the Gede Ruins, you will experience the great city that once existed there.
From Nairobi to Mombasa, you will travel Via SGR train, where you will enjoy the amazing views of the southern regions. You’ll be able to note a change of shifting from a populated area as you traverse through a savanna and wild region.
It does entail of Mtito Andei, Tsavo East and West National Parks, and even the Man-eaters point that is normally infested with Lions and Crocodiles. If lucky, as you pass by the Tsavo ecosystem and the Man-eaters point, you may be able to spot different wildlife such as Elephants as they roam around.

On your first day in Malindi, you will have a couple of activities to engage in as you familiarize yourself with the area before heading for the Mambrui sand dunes.
You will first head for Kenya’s & Africa’s oldest marine park, Malindi Marine Park, established in the year 1968. I know you’ve heard of game drives and game views of animals such as Elephants, Lions, and the rest, but have you ever thought of an aquatic exposure?
This being a challenge posed, worry not because during your tour in Malindi Marine Park, you will be able to learn of different underwater species. You will head for a boat ride in the ocean, what a welcoming to the coastal region, and get to explore Indian ocean.
From there, you’ll get to explore the Vasco Da Gama Pillar and learn more about the Portuguese traveler, Vasco Da Gama the Explorer. Get to learn of the different pillars as such that in Malindi that were set up in different countries along the coastline and what they meant.
You will then head back to your hotel for lunch time as you get to enjoy a coastal dish such as sea food. Have time to relax and refresh after having your lunch and then head on for a beach tour.
With your guide, you will get to explore white sand beaches and enjoy fun activities such as Sand bathing and amazing nature walks along the beach.
Later in the evening, you will head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Finally, the D-day is here, where you will get to enjoy your tour to “Little Dubai” without needing any visa or passport. After breakfast, you’ll carry all you need as you get to explore the dunes and trick your fellow friends or family that you are in Dubai.
From Malindi, you will continue heading north towards Lamu, Kenya’s oldest town, and then divert along the way for the dunes. You will have a splendid time exploring the dunes and enjoying the fascinating oceanic views along the beach.
You may opt to engage in fun activities such as sandboarding or quad biking (extra cost) and make the most of your experience. Opt to carry your best camera for capturing amazing memorable photographs.
After spending time exploring the dunes, you will then head back to Malindi for lunch as you review your gallery and pick the best photos.
Later in the late afternoon, you will head for Mida Creek Kenya, where you will get to enjoy exploring the area on a suspended wood. The boardwalk is just refreshing and therapeutic as you get to bond with nature.
From there, you will then head back to town for dinner and overnight.

On your last day, you will check out of your hotel after breakfast and head for Gede Ruins as you proceed back to Nairobi.
Gede ruins, was an ancient world city that was built back then in the days. Get to learn of the residents who lived there, the different house structures and what they meant back then.
The place is also home to a variety of wild species, such as Syke Monkeys and a wide range of different butterflies in the Kipepeo Project. Also, there are local people near the Gede ruins site who you may opt to promote by buying from them, such as Mabuyu or ornaments.
From there, the next stop will be Mariakani, as you won’t head back to Mombasa for your transport back to Nairobi via SGR train.
Upon reaching Nairobi, you will say your goodbyes as you part ways having had enjoyed your coastal experience.
