The journey begins from Nairobi at 5:30 am, heading northwest along the scenic escarpment highway toward Nakuru.
They will have a stopover at 7:15 am at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint, where students will take in sweeping views of the escarpment and learn about the geological forces that shaped the region.
From 7:45 am, the group will depart for Nakuru purposely for a wildlife experience.
At 9:45 AM, upon arrival at Lake Nakuru National Park, students will enjoy a thrilling game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s most famous conservation areas.
As part of the broader game drive Kenya experience, students will spot flamingos, rhinos, buffalo, zebras, and possibly lions, all while guided by expert rangers who explain the park’s ecosystem and wildlife conservation practices.
After exiting the park at 11:45 am, the group heads into Nakuru town for lunch.
A delicious lunch will be served at a local hotel around 12:30 pm, giving students a chance to rest and reflect on the morning’s wildlife encounters.
Next stop is the Hyrax Hill Prehistoric Site and Museum, where students will go on a guided tour of this significant archaeological site. They’ll explore ancient dwellings, fossils, and artifacts while learning about Kenya’s early human history and colonial-era discoveries. This will take place at 1:15 pm.
Depart from Nakuru and drive south toward Naivasha at 2:00 pm.
Arrive at the gorgeous Lake Naivasha Kenya, a stunning freshwater lake known for its scenic beauty and rich biodiversity. Students will enjoy lakeside learning about the lake’s ecosystem and birdlife, and time permitting, they will take part in boat riding in Naivasha, where they may spot hippos, cormorants, and fishermen at work. All activities will start from 3:30 pm.
Return journey to Nairobi will begin at 4:45 pm as they discuss highlights of the trip along the way.
The end of the educational tour will be in Nairobi at 6:00 pm.
