2-Day Educational Tour Package

Day 1: Wildlife & Conservation Things To Do In Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Students will assemble at the school in Nairobi by 5:30 AM for final preparations.

The group will depart for Nanyuki at 6:00 AM, enjoying a scenic drive to Central Kenya.

Arrival at Ol Pejeta Conservancy is scheduled for 10:00 AM, followed by a brief orientation and brunch.

From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, students will participate in a guided game drive where they will observe the Big Five and learn about animal behavior in the wild.

At 2:00 PM, the group will visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary to explore primate conservation efforts.

By 4:00 PM, students will attend a talk and demonstration by the Anti-Poaching Dog Unit, gaining insight into anti-poaching strategies.

At 6:00 PM, the group will head to the forest campsite for tent setup and a short environmental orientation.

Team-building games will take place at 7:00 PM to encourage collaboration and leadership among students.

Dinner will be served at 8:00 PM, followed by a fun and interactive campfire session featuring storytelling and an environmental quiz.

Day 2: Mount Kenya Day Hike and Historical Tour of Mau-Mau Cave Nanyuki

Students will wake up at 5:00 AM, have breakfast, and prepare for the day’s activities.

At 6:45 AM, they will embark on a guided forest hike within Mount Kenya Forest, with journaling, birdwatching, and field learning incorporated into the experience.

By 9:00 AM, the group will break camp, pack up, and begin their journey to the next destination.

At 10:00 AM, students will arrive at the Mau Mau Caves, where they will receive a guided tour and learn about Kenya’s independence history.

Lunch will be served near Nyeri town at 1:00 PM, giving students time to rest and refresh.

A mentorship and reflection session will take place at 2:00 PM, offering students time to discuss their experiences, share insights, and receive career guidance.

The group will depart for Nairobi at 3:30 PM, with an estimated arrival time of 6:30 PM, marking the end of the tour.
