7 Days Israel Christian Tour

Day 1: Arrive and Tour Tel Aviv

Upon arrival, we will tour Tel Aviv city for city attractions and orientation to Israel. This day we will not have too much activity apart from the tour in the city so that you feel easy on arrival and settle down without too much body engagement.

Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv.

Day 2: Nazareth, Capernaum and Sea of Galilee

We will start this day in the morning with traverse through the Valley of Armageddon where we’ll see Megiddo. We’ll drop at Mt. Slope and show up in Nazareth and visit the lovely Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph.

Later go to the Sea of Galilee, we pass Cana of Galilee where Christ changed water into wine. From a far, we’ll see Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount and stop in Capernaum on the shore of the Sea of Galilee.

Thereafter, visit the Roman Catholic Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes and river Jordan, This River Jordan baptismal site might have been where John submersed Jesus.

On our return process, we pass Mt. Tabor where the Transfiguration occurred.

Day 3: Masada and Dead Sea

This day we head southern Israel through the Judean Hills and past the Inn of the Good Samaritan for a photo session as we head to the famous Dead Sea. Our most memorable stop is at Masada where we take a trolley to the level highest point and visit the remaining parts of Herod’s 2,055 year old castle post.

We see wonderful designs including castles and a bathhouse. From Masada the visit takes you past the desert spring of Ein Gedi and Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.

We use whatever is left of the day loosening up on one of the Dead Sea shores. You can float on the Dead Sea water that is 8.6 times more saline than the normal ocean water hence the buoyance.

Utilize the Dead Sea mud as a skin cover and enjoy the evening brilliant Dead Sea sun.

Day 4: Bethlehem and Jericho

On this day after the breakfast, we will tour the following attractions to mark the day. Take this Bethlehem and Jericho visit past the Inn of the Good Samaritan to the old city of Jericho.

In Jericho see the sycamore tree moved by Zacchaeus when he attempted to get a superior look at Jesus. Review the scriptural story of Joshua walking his soldiers around Jericho’s city walls until they fell.

The visit leaves Jericho passing the Mount of Temptation and proceeds to Qasr al-Yahud on the Jordan River where John submersed Jesus. Then, at that point, the visit visits Bethlehem where Jesus was born 2022 years back.

The Bethlehem visit stops in Manger Square which we will tour the Church of the Nativity which holds the Holy Grotto. The visit visits the contiguous Church of St. Catherine and its underground caverns holding old burial places and sanctums.

From here the visit passes Shepherds Field and gets back to Jerusalem

Day 5: Old & New Jerusalem

We tour Jerusalem from the highest point of the Mount of Scopus then, at that point, travel down the mount passing the Biblical Garden of Gethsemane, Church of All Nations and Kidron Valley that holds amazing Jewish burial chambers.

In the Jewish Quarter, we see the Cardo; the Byzantine-period central avenue of Jerusalem. We stop at the holy Western Wall to put a request note between the old stones of the wall.

The visit follows part of the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Here we see the site of Christ’s torturous killing and his internment burial place.

After lunch break, we’ll stroll through the Old City market we travel to New Jerusalem.

Day 6: Foot Steps of Jesus

We will start this day with footsteps that Jesus took on the Mount of Olives visiting the Church of the Ascension. This is where Christ climbed to paradise and the close by Church of the Pater Noster.

This is where Christ taught the Lord’s Prayer. See the Dominus Flevit, the spot Jesus wept over Jerusalem destruction. Then we’ll proceed with a visit to the Church of all Nations and Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus was captured just before his execution.

We view the Pools of Bethesda then go into the Old City where we stop at the Church of Saint Anne in addition to the Convent of the Sisters of Zion. From here we walk the Via Dolorosa as Jesus did carrying the cross towards his torturous killing on Calvary.

Day 7: Departure

On the last day, we will have a light city shops and shopping tour as we enjoy the last supper before our flight back home.
