Here is the detailed itinerary for this immersive Samburu culture experience, where you will get to visit and learn more about the deep, ancient Samburu traditions, such as the famous ‘Singing Well.’
It is all curated for you to experience all the fascinating traditions and culture of Samburu people.
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our Naicef team, and then, after a short briefing, head on to Kenya’s Northern frontier, the Samburu region.
The drive will take you about 5 to 6 hours from Nairobi to Samburu, where your tour awaits you.
On the way, you will get to enjoy the epic views of the Snow-capped Mount Kenya and the Laikipia ecosystem.
On reaching, you will first check into your lodge, Samburu Sopa Lodge. You will then have your lunch as you have a moment of siesta.
Late in the evening, you will be welcomed by the amazing traditional dances performed by the energetic Samburu young warriors.
You will have a chance to challenge yourself in testing your strength and capabilities by participating in the Jumping dances.
