This Mombasa 3 day package cultural tour offers you an opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich Mombasa culture. Different cultures especially the Swahili culture Mombasa are among the traditions and customs that are popular in this coastal region. This 3 days Mombasa itinerary enables you to learn the various Mombasa festival, customs, and traditions such as the Eid al-Fitr, common among Muslims.

You will be picked up at your hotel/Airport/CBD by the Naicef team who will warmly receive you. After a short briefing, you will then be transferred to Wilson Airport for your local flight to Mombasa.
Upon reaching, which is about an hour and a half hours, you will then be transferred to your hotel for checking in. You will be allowed to familiarize yourself with the place and enjoy the coastal vibe until time of lunch.
After lunch time, you will then head for your first destination the Fort Jesus, an ancient tower built in early times to put slaves. Get to learn about this Portuguese tower and how the Swahili culture came to be common in the coastal regions of Kenya.
Just outside Fort Jesus, you will then be guided around the Mombasa Old Town as you get to see the Swahili architecture and appreciate the Swahili culture. Later after the tour, you will head back to your hotel where in time for dinner, you’ll get to enjoy an acoustic Swahili meal.

On the next day of your 3 days Mombasa itinerary, after breakfast, you will first head for Mombasa Cultural Village. Here you will get to have a hands-on encounter with the locals and learn more about the Swahili culture Mombasa.
You will be able to have a chance to participate in the various traditions and customs such as traditional dances, weaving and even bead making.
Learn of the ‘Chakacha’ a Swahili traditional dance, the traditional wear ‘dera’, and even of the Mombasa festival ‘Eid al-Fitr’ among others. After the immersion in the Mombasa culture, you will then head to visit the Kongowea Market and get a chance to try the street foods.
From there you will then head for Tamarind Dhow where you will get to enjoy a fresh meal prepared caught from the sea. You will continue to be told more of the Swahili culture as you enjoy the coastal vibe while in the sea.
After, you will head for the Bombolulu workshop and cultural center. Here you will get to appreciate the talent of the local artisans who are people with disabilities. You will see their epic traditional crafts such as carvings or even jewelry making.
Later you will proceed back to your hotel in preparation for dinner and overnight. You will also have a chance to visit the beach and enjoy the stunning views along the coastline.
