This 2 days 1 night Amboseli Hot Air Balloon Safari tour gives you a ride over the vast plains of Amboseli National Park and amazing views of Mount Kilimanajaro. It gives you a thrilling experience as you encounter different wildlife, such as the free-ranging Elephants and Big Cats, i.e, Lion, Cheetah, and Leopard, among others.
You will be picked up at your hotel, CBD, or airport by our Naicef team. After a short briefing, you will start off your journey heading south for Amboseli National Park, which is a 3 to 4-hour drive.
Enjoy the drive as you exit Nairobi and traverse through Machakos County and enter Kajiado County via the Nairobi-Mombasa Road. Upon reaching the park, you will first check in to your lodge as you have your lunch.
Later in the evening, after resting and refreshing, you will head on for an evening game drive. You will come across different wild species, such as the Big Five members, Zebras, Giraffes, Hyenas, Hippos, and Cheetahs, as well as different bird species.
You will then head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner {L & D}
Very early in the morning, after waking up, you will head for your Amboseli National Park hot air balloon safari for an amazing adventure experience. You will head for the balloon safari in Amboseli Point flighting area, where they are set up, and enjoy seeing various balloons in the area being prepared for a flight.
Once your balloon is ready, you will enter, and then the pilot does his magic and you are up in the air. Enjoy the views as your balloon goes up and as it starts to head in the direction of the wind.
While up there, you will enjoy stunning clear views of Africa’s highest free-standing mountain, in our neighbouring country Tanzania, Mt.Kilimanjaro. Be amazed by the aerial views of different wildlife, such as nests of birds and big cats as they hunt their prey, among others.
After an hour or so, your balloon will begin to descend, and your pilot will find an open, clear area safe for landing. You will then celebrate with a glass of champagne in the wild, and then your guide will take you back to your lodge for your breakfast.
From breakfast you will check out as you enjoy a last game drive in the park as you come across different wild animals and plant species as you exit the park. You will then head straight back to Nairobi.
On reaching Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your preferred hotel or airport for your flight back home or at CBD. You will then say your goodbyes and head home as a happy client full of unforgettable memories after a hot air balloon in Amboseli park.
